Productive forces in the sense of [[Marxism]] describe the combination of the [[means of production]] and [[labor-power]]. It is often referred to in the sense of [[developmentalism]]. It is the set of all things that contribute to production or productive activity.
This was not a term used by [[Marx]] or [[Engels]] directly.
