@pee_zombie interesting -- I agree with you on the importance of the base but I'm personally unconvinced you need cryptocurrency in particular, over essentially just a way for people to agree on the meaning of 'value' (and, for moderation, 'bad/good') and a coordination point ;)
That is, this can be a DNS root and protos.
If you count things like e.g. [[stellar]] and treat currency as a quorum system though: sure.
