If you want to get a job in tech & be qualified for it, you need to first be
self-taught and then get a degree. Without being self-taught you will not be
competent (because a four year degree program does not and can not provide the
prerequisites for competence in a field like this), and without a degree many
(though not all) businesses will not consider you.
