Basically, if you donβt need interactivity, thereβs no excuse for having it. If the point of the website is to display text, it should just display text and neither javascript nor css is justified (let alone a CMS).
To be honest, your site isnβt quite minimal enough for my tastes. You could have gotten away with pure HTML and no formatting, and it would have been better. But, at least youβre on the right track.
