Hadewijch of Brabant is another [[Beguines]] who influenced [[Meister Eckhart]]. Brabant wrote a number of books, including Poems in Stanzas, Poems in Couplets, and her book of visions, called in Dutch [[Visioenenboek]]. Similar to [[Mechthild of Magdeburg]], her writings were one of the first times any book had been written in the vernacular. Hadewijch influenced [[Jan van Ruusbroec]].
